LAUNCH YOUR RAILS APPLICATION ON THE LOCALHOST
1. Remember to navigate your terminal to the correct folder
$ cd desktop
$ cd swiftrubydemo
2. Run the following Command to Launch the WebBrick Server
$ rails server
or
$ rails s
3. View your Application on the Local Host
Open your web browser and type the following into your url:
localhost:3000
NOTE: Only you will be able to view your application from localhost:3000, we have not made the application "live" or "global"
LOCAL VS. GLOBAL
local - only you can see
global - live and online for the world to see (we are not there yet!)
$ cd desktop
$ cd swiftrubydemo
